| CO2 Emitters, Generators & Testers
Description |
| |
All green plants use carbon dioxide and water to make food using light energy. Carbon dioxide is naturally found in the atmosphere at very low concentrations. It is known that additional carbon dioxide stimulates better growth. Use CO2 emitters and generators to ensure that a constant supply of carbon dioxide is delivered to your plants. Remember that carbon dioxide generation should begin at sunrise and end at sunset.
Generating carbon dioxide is not enough. Ensure that the carbon dioxide levels are constant and not too high using a good-quality CO2 monitor and controller system. Leaks occur all the time. Hence, you should use a CO2 test kit to monitor the level of CO2 in your indoor garden or greenhouse. Inexpensive test kits are available that allow you to monitor the level of CO2. More sophisticated systems provide complete and automatic control of carbon dioxide levels in a greenhouse.
The important thing to remember is that additional carbon dioxide will produce results only when the plants receive adequate quantities of all the other inputs such as light, air, water, and nutrients.
