| Aeroponic Systems
Description |
| |
| Aeroponics is a method of growing in which oxygen is infused into the nutrient solution, allowing the roots to absorb nutrients faster and easier, thereby facilitating rapid growth that results in fantastic yields.
The Aeroponic system provides the greatest aeration to plant roots resulting in fast root development and vegetative growth and is excellent for growing leafy vegetables.
Seedlings or cuttings can be rooted in Rockwool and then transferred directly to the net pots. Cuttings treated with cloning gel exhibit exceptional root development in aeroponic systems.
Aeroponic systems are often used commercially and are also ideal for research and educational facilities because they are self-contained systems. Experiments can be easily conducted using nutrient solutions, lighting or CO2 levels as variables in the growth process. |
